Why is it important to have a table top conversation? • Entry Task - Students will discuss the following questions – 60 second discussion with a partner: • “As you reflect on the senior meeting from September, discuss with a partner how the world of work is different and evolving today? How does this affect your future?”

  3. The Conversation • Reflect on my family’s culture • What does my family look like?

  4. Timing: When and where to have the conversation? • What is happening in my family that would affect my conversation? • What is a good day? Set and agree on a date. • What time of day will is best for the conversation? • Where are we going to have the conversation?

  5. Planning for Success • The conversation planner will help you plan for before, during and after the conversation.

  6. Selecting Questions • Decide on your questions and give the list to your parent, guardian, or significant adult ahead of time so they can pick theirs.

  7. Support Documents • Bring relevant 3 point documents for support
