  2. 2 Review Jude’s Exhortation – Contend for the faith Twisted Teachers – Faith corrupters

  3. 3 Jude 14-15 14 Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, "Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints, 15 to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him." NKJV

  4. 4 Gen 4:17-18 17 And Cain knew his wife, and she conceived and bore Enoch. And he built a city, and called the name of the city after the name of his son--Enoch. NKJV

  5. 5 Genesis 5:18 18 Jared lived one hundred and sixty-two years, and begot Enoch. NKJV

  6. 6 Jude 14 - 24 1 Adam 2 Seth 3 Enosh 4 Cainan 5 Mahalalel 6 Jared 7 Enoch

  7. 7 Genesis 5:21 21 Enoch lived sixty-five years, and begot Methuselah. NKJV

  8. 8 Genesis 5:22 22 After he begot Methuselah, Enoch walked with God three hundred years, and had sons and daughters. NKJV

  9. 9 Genesis 5:23 23 So all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years. NKJV

  10. 10 Genesis 5:24 24 And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him. NKJV

  11. 11 Amos 3:3 3 Can two walk together, unless they are agreed? NKJV

  12. 12 1 Cor 15:51-52 51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed-- 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. NKJV

  13. 13 1 Thess 4:16-17 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. NKJV

  14. 14 Jude 14-15 14 Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, "Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints, 15 to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him." NKJV

  15. 15 John 12:47-48 47 And if anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. 48 He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him--the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day. NKJV

  16. 16 Jude 16 16 These are grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts; and they mouth great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage. NKJV

  17. 17 Jude 17-19 17 But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ: 18 how they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts. 19 These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit. NKJV

  18. 18 Acts 2:42 42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. NKJV

  19. 19 1 Tim 3:1 - 3 1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, NKJV

  20. 20 1 Tim 3:4 - 6 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! 6 For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, NKJV

  21. 21 1 Tim 3:7 - 9 7 always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 8 Now as Jannes and Jambres resisted Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, disapproved concerning the faith; 9 but they will progress no further, for their folly will be manifest to all, as theirs also was. NKJV

  22. 22 2 Peter 2:1 1 But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. NKJV

  23. 23 2 Peter 2:2 - 3 2 And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. 3 By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber. NKJV

  24. 24 Jude 19 19 These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit. NKJV

  25. 25 Romans 8:9 9 However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him. NASB

  26. 26 Romans 8:9 9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. NKJV

  27. 27 Jude 20 - 21 20 But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, 21 keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. NKJV

  28. 28 John 15:4 4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. NKJV

  29. 29 Romans 5:5 5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. NKJV

  30. 30 Romans 5:5 5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. KJV

  31. 31 Jude 21 21 keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. NKJV

  32. 32 Acts 4:12 12 Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." NKJV

  33. 33 1 John 3:2 2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is . NKJV

  34. 34 Jude 22 22 And on some have compassion, making a distinction; NKJV

  35. 35 Jude 23 23 but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh. NKJV

  36. 36 Jude 24a Now to Him who is able NKJV

  37. 37 Daniel 3:16 - 17 16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego answered and said to the king, "O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. 17 If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king. NKJV
