  4. Personal Life • He practiced classical authority • He had two children named François and Junie • After he wrote Gargantuahe wrote nothing for 11 years so he could focus on being a physician • In May 1537 he was awarded the doctorate of medicine of Montpellier

  5. Famous works • One book he wrote was Gargantua and Pantagruel. It uses historical events with France and the Holy Roman Empire but still keeps it funny • He also madeHippocrates’Aphorisms • andGalen’sArsparva
