  3. Procedures for Entering the classroom Be on Time! You are expected to bring your Agenda, composition book, Science folder, paper, and pencil to class every day. You have the option to keep your composition book and Science folder in the assigned class bin ( KEEP IT NEAT AND TIDY) Pick up any other materials needed for the day from the and BLUE LINE (computer table) When the bell rings you should be seated and working on your Bell Work on a sheet of paper inside your science folder . Otherwise you will be counted as tardy.

  4. Procedures for Entering the classroom The consequences of the school tardy policy are followed.

  5. Procedures for during class Besides being the best student you can be I would also like you to know Procedures for leaving class (i.e. restroom, lockers): Leaving class should be for emergencies only, but if you must go you are allowed TWO hall passes per quarter. After permission is given, fill out the Hall passes log in the back of your agenda and bring it to me to sign. YOU MUST HAVE YOUR AGENDA to go to the halls. Hall passes are a privilege not a right, abuse of this privilege will result in it being taken away. You are not allowed to go the first and last 10 mins of class. Hall passes are NOT to be used for retrieving homework left in your locker.

  6. Procedures for during class Using the pencil sharpener: Be sure to sharpen your pencil at the beginning of class. If you must sharpen during class ask for permission. Throwing away Trash: Keep all trash at your desk and throw it away as you exit class. Trash on the floor will result in staying after class to clean. Tissues: Tissue can be found at the front of the room by the door. Try grabbing some before class starts. Office supplies can be used. These are the only student set, so take care of them.

  7. Procedures for during class Using the computer: You may only use the computer for academic purposes. Anything else will result in loss of computer privileges. Unless assigned, you must ask for permission to use the computer. BYOD sometimes we will have activities where you can use your devices. This is the only time they should be OUT. Keep them in your pocket OR locker and OFF.

  8. Procedures for during class Signals for attention: Bell, Lights off, alarms, timers, clapping, or chants.

  9. Procedures for during class This class is only what you make of it! Be prepared to participate at anytime. I do not know will not fly! You can ask for more time, but you will participate Distractions: When you are off task you distract others. The first time you will receive a warning. If you continue to be off task you will stay after class ( Board names) The schoolwide discipline Policy is followed.

  10. Help: I help those that help themselves 1st. First use your notes. I guarantee the answer is there. If your still stuck ask your neighbor for help (not just the answer) if that does not work, then come see me.

  11. Procedures for during class Procedures for missing copies: I am limited on copies. if you lose copies of handouts given, you will need to handwrite it! Don’t lose your copies! My webpage will have my class ppts. We add a lot to our notes things that will not be on the powerpoint.

  12. Procedures for absences or leaving early: An agenda is kept on the file table up front. Look to see what the class assignments were. Find the copies you need in the files next to it. Look in the day of the week you missed and grab papers. Follow the procedures for make up work outlined in your syllabus.
