Existing Qualifications Types, Cycles and Levels • Each country has a formal description of their qualifications from kindergarten to university • They also have lists of occupations in different sectors of economy, • In some cases the occupations are linked to various types of classification and regulatory systems • These systems reveal simple and rudimentary representations of the main pathways between qualifications in the country • These qualifications are almost always only better understood in that country
