Join the Science Photography Competition at Montfort Junior School!

Participate in the exciting Science Photography Competition hosted by Montfort Junior School from April 1 to May 1, 2013. Capture an interesting scientific phenomenon through photography and write a 100-200 word explanation of its scientific basis.   4. Science photography competition • We can use Science to explain many things that happen in our daily lives • Take an interesting picture of something which is related to Science. Write a description of 100-200 words of the scientific phenomenon • Inter-level competition • Platform used: Shared Blog in Asknlearn

Science Photography Competition • Competition is from 1 April to 1 May 2013. • Students can write more than one article. • Students can “like” articles which they think are good. • Students can only give positive comments for the articles. • Students will be severely dealt with if they use vulgarities or comment negatively.

  9. Examples of Positive Comments • “I like your picture because...” • “I think that is a good description of Science because…” • “Good job!” • “I think you can improve on the article by…”

Competition prizes • The three articles with the most number of “likes” from each level will win 20 talents • The best articles may be selected to compete in the “Science Everywhere Everyday” Photo Competition organized by SCIENCE CENTRE SINGAPORE. There are attractive prizes to be won like digital camera and SCS Family membership (worth $800)!!
