  1. Why Bi-metallic Casting is a Great Way to Achieve Toughness and Wear Resistance? There has been a massive demand for casting with special characteristics such as corrosion and wear resistance. Bi-metallic castings are a great way to avoid cracks in the heated zone and making an additional layer using a welding method. These are mainly comprised of alloy steel with a chrome white iron, known for toughness and easy wear out. Ever wondered about combining chrome white iron with bi-metallic castings?
