  2. Progress with Supplement 137 • 23 June 2008: WG-06 (Cardiff) approved for Public Comment • Detailed discussion, editorial adjustments • Size of single fragment confirmed as approx 4 GB • Approved for Public Comment • 2 July 2008: WG-13 T-Con • Recommendation to constrain DAR to 16:9 • Further editorial adjustments proposed • August 2008 – WG-06 comments received from: • WG-13 • GE Healthcare (mainly regarding use of MPEG2@HL rather than MPEG-4 AVC) • 15 October 2008: editing proposal spreadsheet sent to WG-06 • 31 October 2008 – WG-06 (by telephone) • Public Comments addressed; further editorial improvements • Decided to restrict to square pixels • easy to accept for PACS vendors • removes risk of incorrect aspect ratio display • Decided thatMPEG@H-14 is explicitly NOT included in DICOM • this is not believed to be an issue with know current or planned products • theoretical future inconvenience should vendors wish to convert existing HDV or XDCAM files directly into DICOM files. However, this is not critical. • Approved for LB

  3. Progress with Supplement 137 • Remaining issues? • Editorial: Notes 6, 7 should use consistent terminology when referring to MPEG2 High 1440 profile: this should be: MP@H-14 • Please Vote! • Deadline is 9 January
