  2. Activity at DWBT • Study the possibility to put Chinese characters in DICOM standard. • Joint 2001 annul conference and exhibition of BMES/ROC. • Promote more member to joint WG. • Attend the meeting of DICOM standard committee.

  3. Proposed Work Items • Trying to collaborate HL-7 WG, Radiological Society and Dental Society in Taiwan. • Submit a proposal regarding put Chinese characters into DICOM standard—UTF-8 (ISO10646 or CNS14649). • Promote conference and workshop activity of DICOM. • Prepare the Spring meeting of DICOM standard committee in 2003.

  4. Others • Setup a webpage to report the activity of DICOM. • Joint CSRI for planning IHE-T to promote to popularize standards. • Help CNSB to Implement DICOM standards into CNS. • A Taiwan medical law requires clinics (hospitals) to submit medical electric record for insurance payment.
