  11. Let’s Have a Great Year!

  12. Reflection/Rationale Reflection/Rationale For my Power Point presentation I chose to create a slide show for the first day of school. This would allow me to introduce myself to my students and let them see who I am and where I came from. This adds a personal touch that I feel is important in establishing a democratic classroom. This presentation would also give them a quick overview of what to expect in the coming school year, curriculum subject areas, rules of the classroom, the importance of being on time, and potential field trips. In addition to sharing this presentation with my students I plan to share this with my students’ parents during Open House. I believe in communication and parental involvement. This is a good opportunity to do both.
