  2. The Ordinary World • Achilles was dressed up as a woman to hide from the call of duty to fight for the Greeks in Troy.

The Call to Adventure The Refusal and The Return Call • When he got caught dressing as a woman hiding from the war. • At first he willingly accepted to fight. • But then refused to fight for the Greeks after giving up his war prize. • After his friends death he decided to go back and get revenge.

  4. Allies and Mentors • Centaur Chiron was his care taker. • When Odysseus had caught him from cross dressing. • He had many Myrmidon soldiers to lead. • His tutor, Phoenix, went along with him • And had his close friend, Patroclus, alongside.

  5. Crossing the threshold • He crossed it when he checked out the cart of weapons and armor while being disguised as a woman. • Or when Odysseus pulled out a horn and played it which drew all the women away except Achilles.

  6. Belly of the whale • During his refusal, he was done with the war, but when his best friend died in his place he decided to go back and get revenge.

  7. Road of trails • Dressing up as a woman. • Fighting in the war. • Giving up his war prize. • Losing his best friend. • Getting Revenge.

  8. The Transformation • He transformed angrily when his friend had died. • Cut his hair. • Had angrily token revenge on Hector for killing Patroclus. • Disrespected Hectors body in a mad crazy kind of way.

  9. The Return to battle • After his friends death he decided he had to back and fight the Trojan war.

  10. The Elixer • One of these was when he had his War Prize. • The other was to take revenge.
