The prophecy: In Isaiah 7:14, the prophet Isaiah addresses the "house of David," meaning the family and descendants of King David, and speaks of a virgin being pregnant with a child, and giving birth to the child. Isaiah says this in the context of it being a sign from God. He also says that the child would be referred to as "Immanuel," which means, "God with us" or "God is with us."

  3. Description • Matthew 2:1-12 - Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king • Exodus 3:14 - And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. • It was foretold in many books of the Bible mentioning about Jesus’ birth.

  5. Qualification of a true prophet • In Isaiah’s time, he had visions about a virgin giving birth to Christ in flesh. • He saw a vision about King Uzziah's death by leprosy.
