What is the IDSS?
  • A fully web-based system used to collect non-survey HEDIS results for all product lines

HEDIS Data Submission Deadlines
  • Communication sent via the IDSS mailbox on April 29, 2010
    • Any data received after the June 15 deadline for commercial and Medicaid and June 30 for Medicare may be ineligible for NCQA public reporting programs
    • A processing fee may be charged for late data and resubmissions that wish to publicly report

  • Updated the User Management Tool
  • Added the Organization Management Tool
  • Redesigned the Submission List page
  • Removed the Satisfaction with Experience of Care Domain from the ART
  • Added an Attestation e-sign option
  • Organization Administrators can set the public reporting intentions for the Attestation
  • Added the Detail Report

  • New e-sign Attestation
  • Only an authorized officer of the company has the rights to e-sign the Attestaion and should be assigned the Signer role
  • After the applying the plan lock the Organization Administrator sets the public reporting intentions and notifies the Signer that the Attestation is ready to be e-signed
  • Created an e-sign tutorial and separate instructions for how to e-sign the Attestation

  • NCQA receives the Attestation immediately
  • Public reporting intentions and signature are electronically captured
  • No longer need to mail in the Paper Attestation with the “wet signature”
