UMB FY 2009 Sources and Uses of Funds Total Dollars: $924 Million Sources of Funds Uses of Funds • Approximately 2/3 of UMB Revenues are from research and clinical (patient) revenues • Approximately 1/5 of UMB revenues are from State Appropriations • Approximately 10% of UMB revenues are from tuition and fees • State Appropriation plus Tuition & Fees, at 29.4% meet operating and instructional costs • Research and clinical revenues help fund instructional costs November 16, 2014
