Myra Conway School of Health and Life Sciences offers 8-10 week research projects funded by over 20 bodies for students to gain unique research experience. Eligible students can benefit by applying techniques in leading research areas, gaining academic insight, and preparing for their final year projects.

  2. What are student summer vacation bursaries? • 8-10 week research projects • Over 20 different funding bodies • Designed to provide students with a unique research experience. • Preference given to students without prior research experience

  4. Eligibility of students – BBSRC Selected students must be: • In the middle years of their first degree studies • Registered for a basic science or veterinary degree at a UK university • Expected to obtain a first or upper second class UK honours degree • Preference should be given to students who have not had previous research experience. http://www.bbsrc.ac.uk/funding/studentships/vacation_bursaries.html
