Krenning, P.E., TMC Manager Date: Monday November 15, 2010 Location: 14301 South Outer 40 Road, Town and Country, MO 63017 Networking/Lunch: 11:15 a.m. Presentation and Tour: 11:45 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Abstract:TMC is the operational hub for Gateway Guide - St. Louis' Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) program. The system encompasses a broad range of information, control and electronics technologies for managing surface transportation such as roads and bridges.. When integrated into the roads and vehicles, these technologies help monitor and manage traffic flow, reduce congestion, provide alternate routes to travelers, enhance productivity and save lives, time and money. Biography: Teresa A. Krenning, P.E., TMC Manager, Missouri Department of Transportation serves as the first MoDOT manager of the Gateway Guide program and the Transportation Management Center in the St. Louis area.Teresa began her career with MoDOT in 1990 as a traffic studies engineer and has worked on the Gateway Guide program, which includes the Intelligent Transportation Systems and Incident Management programs, since 1996. She graduated from the University of Missouri - Rolla with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and is a licensed professional engineer. She is a member of ITS America and ITS Heartland.
