  4. Noisy demonstrations to disrupt events including using sound systems towed on bicycles or on vehicles • Blockading road traffic routes to venues by deploying obstructions or by mounting phoney road accidents

  5. Infiltration to event venues by lawful means and causing disruption at the site (protests and activation of fire alarms) • Banner drops from street furniture, rooftops or other locations that offer a height vantage

  6. Lock-On’s – Protesters locking themselves to each other using cylindrical tubes and chains, ropes, plastic ties or cuffs • A range of activities designed to disrupt all other forms of access to and from venues

  7. The protesters can be highly organized using cell phones and/or 2-way radios to communicate with each other. • Organizers have experience running protests in London and will be familiar with police tactics.

  8. Protesters will know from past actions what works and what doesn’t. • Protesters will know how to get around London rapidly and will suddenly appear in large numbers at a specific location • The protests will be fast moving, spontaneous, dynamic and possibly aggressive. • Protesters will try and ‘claim a street or venue’ by fielding overwhelming numbers against the police.

March 28th Event: Put People First Rally Category: Demonstrations / March Non-Hostile- Non Violent (Expected) Location: March from Victoria Embankment to Hyde Park (NE Corner) Date: March 28 1100-1600 Organizer: Put People First (an umbrella organization for over 100 distinct entities) Description: Thousands are expected to march through London to Hyde Park to promote “creating an economy based on fair distribution of wealth, decent jobs for all and a low carbon future.” After the march to Hyde Park, a mass rally is expected.   11. March 28th Event: Put People First Rally Participants are to gather at 1100 on Victoria Embankment by Temple tube station. They will then march to Hyde Park for their rally. Rally at Hyde Park is expected to last until 1600. http://www.putpeoplefirst.org.uk/ Possible Anarchist Protest: Anarchists are “not impressed” with the speakers lineup at the main Hyde Park rally and are organizing an alternative ‘anarchist rally’ after the march at Speakers Corner.   16. April 1st Event: Financial Fools Day The protest will begin at four railway stations around the edge of the square mile: Liverpool St, London Bridge, Cannon St and Moorgate. At 1130 each group will make their way though the City to converge at the Bank of England at 1200. Each procession will be headed by one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse: 1) Climate Chaos (Green horse, Liverpool St) 2) War (Red horse, Moorgate) 3) Job/Savings/Pensions Losses (Silver horse, London Bridge) 4) Home Repossessions (Black horse, Cannon Street) U.S. Embassy - London

  17. April 1st Event: Financial Fools Day Possible Anarchist Protest: Theevent is being advertised by the White Chapel Anarchists. They passed out flyers on Brick Lane Sunday, March 15th, and again on Sunday, March 22nd. According to their blog, they paid a street vendor to shout “Bash a Banker” for a few hours. Open Sources have reported that the protest group, People & Planet has called for a protest at the Royal Bank of Scotland. However, a number of other environmental protests are due to occur in this area on this day. Demonstrators have been told to bring camping gear to stage a 24-hour “Climate Camp” to protest the Royal Bank of Scotland’s funding of the petroleum industry. Website warns that event details may change significantly, including the location of the camp. They plan to bring in a large ice block and are encouraging protestors to dress in white and bring ice of their own. Protestors will march in protest of the War in Iraq and Afghanistan. The protestors have unified with a number of Pro-Palestinian groups and will also be protesting Israeli military action in Gaza. Group will gather at US Embassy where they plan to “deliver a message to Barack Obama at the embassy.” Group will march to Trafalgar Square where they will end with an “alternative summit.” Various speakers and entertainers will be present. Anarchist groups and environmental activists are already collaborating on a series of demonstrations, which are being advertised with slogans such as “Storm the Banks” and “Bash a Banker”.
