  2. You’ve just found the DeLorean, as you approach you notice the time clock ticking away. Without a moment's hesitation, you enter the DeLorean and set your time destination to travel into the past. What a great way to get firsthand knowledge of events and what was happening during the decade (50's, 60's, 70's, 80’s or 90’s) your parents or grandparents lived in or the decade you were born.

  3. Your level is responsible for producing a 25 to 35 min. journey for the corresponding decade and present it on May 13th for your family, friends and teachers. I – 50’s (From 4 to 4:30 PM) II – 60’s (From 5 to 5:30 PM) III – 70’s (From 6 to 6:30 PM) IV – 80’s (From 7 to 7:30 PM) V – 90’s (From 8 to 8:30 PM)

  4. In your journey you should show us the following • aspects of the decade: • News (Historical events) • Science and technology (Discoveries and gadgets) • Fashion • Entertainment • (music, movies, • TV, toys…)

  5. PROCESS In your class form groups of people who enjoy Music, movies, fashion, history, science… 2. Go to the link at the end of this presentation and some others and research about your topic (music) in your decade (60’s). 3. Be creative! Find an interesting and attractive show to present this research to your audience in a way that holds their attention throughout your presentation. 4. Write a Script for your show. 5. Show your teacher a draft of your script. 6. Take note of the recommendations made by your teacher in the feedback.

  6. PROCESS 7. Choose the character you are going to be. 8. Memorize your part of the script. 9. Gather with your team and rehearsal your show. 10. From March 7th to 12th, present your project to your teacher without reading and give him/her a copy of your script.(For this presentation you won’t need sets, props, costumes, make up…) 11. Join with all the students of your language level (English and French) and decide which ideas are the best for you to present as your Journey to the past On May 13th

  7. PROCESS 12. Start working on your sets, props, costumes… 13. Ask for your tickets and send them with an Invitation to your family, friends and teachers. 14. Print posters, flyers and find ways to make people want to go to your show. 15. Organize rehearsals and polish your performance. 16. On May 13th have fun with your family, friends and teachers traveling to the past.
