  12. Announcements Announcements will be read daily at 11:00 and 3:15. In addition, announcements can be found on monitors throughout the school.

  13. Cell Phones • If found in possession of cell phone: • 1st offense-parent pick-up • 2nd offense-parent pick-up and 2 misconduct points • 3rd offense-parent-pick up and detention • 4th offense-parent pick-up and SSS From 8:20-3:17, cell phones are to be powered down and in your locker Taking pictures/video or recording sound is prohibited Phones are prohibited in locker rooms and restrooms

  14. Attendance Procedures Parents need to phone the office at 586-4415 prior to 10:00 a.m. on days that you will be absent. If a parent is picking you up during school hours, they must come into the front office to “sign you out”. If you are tardy to school, your parent needs to bring you to the front office or phone 586-4415 to explain the reason for your tardiness.

  15. Dress Code Clothing will not display references to drugs, alcohol, violence, or obscene behavior. Hats, coats, bandannas, sweat bands and sunglasses are not to be worn in the building during school hours. Sleeveless, tank tops, spaghetti-strap tops are not allowed. Shorts/Skirts will be a minimum length of fingertips when arms are extended to side while standing. Appropriate footwear must be worn at all times.

  16. Misconduct Point System Points are issued upon violation of school rules and accumulate over the semester. Accumulation of points will result in further consequences. One point will be deducted for every 5 school days a student does not receive a disciplinary referral. 5 points Before School Detention 8 points Supervised Saturday Study 11 points PBIS referral 15 points In School Detention/Parent Conference
