  1. Angus, thongs and perfect snogging The Font of the title is ordinary bubble writing and the word ‘snogging ’ is much bigger then the rest of the words, this could mean that the designers of the cover are trying to emphasis the word. The bright colours and sketch like iconography could suggest this is quite a young girly film. The review is very positive, could suggest that the film is recommended to particular audience e.g. teenagers. The male character could indicate a romance between himself and the main character e.g. he’s quite cool looking, rock star style, musician type teenager. These young girls could be a unique selling point (USP), as they indicate a friendship between them and the main character. This girl maybe larger than anyone else because she is the main character. The certificate: 12 rating, meaning 12 and above meaning e.g. young teenagers.

  2. Stereotypically: she’s blond so isn’t very smart, bit girly. Countertype: responsible, caring. Stereotype: Irresponsible, alcoholic, The actors name’s are above the title making it more noticeable and this is a unique selling point. Life As We Know It: The title (typography) could state that life is; hard, calm, really difficult. This could mean any type of lifestyle. The smiling baby (typography) could suggest happiness (comedy), maybe even romance The iconography could suggest a family film e.g. the baby, a mum figure perhaps. This tag line ‘ A comedy about taking it one step at a time’ is a unique selling point because it could intrigue an audience who’s favourite genre of a film is comedy.
