  2. Login to Your ThomsonNOW Account

  3. Click “Assignments/Tests” from the Opening Page

  4. From the Drop-Down List of Assignments, Choose the Course for which You Want to Create an Assignment

  5. Click “Create Assignment”

  6. Choose the radio button next to “Choose questions individually from test bank or homework bank”

  7. Click the “+” sign under “Choose Content Source” until you find the book and chapter from which you want to assign homework, check the box next to the chapters you want to assign and Click “Continue

  8. To Choose Questions according to Learning Outcome Assessed, Click “Show All Commands”

  9. Choose the Learning Outcome You Wish to Measure and Click “Filter” to See Only Questions that Assess those Outcomes, then click “Continue”

  10. Click the radio button next to each question you want to include in the assignment. Click “View Details” to see the assignment as a student would see it.

  11. Click “Continue”. Enter the Assignment Name in the space provided. Scroll down and Click “Assign”.

  12. Define the parameters of this assignment. Choose “Show All Options” to see all parameters. Scroll and Click “Save” when done.

  13. The assignment Is active! To see the assignment as a student would see it, click on “Take this Assignment from the Students’ View”.
