QUIEN FUE SOR JUANA INÉS DE LACRUZ Juana Inés de Asbaje y Ramírez de Santillana, más conocida como Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz fue una religiosa y escritora novohispana del Barroco en el Siglo de Oro. Cultivó la lírica, el auto sacramental y el teatro, así como la prosa. Por la importancia de su obra, recibió los sobrenombres de el Fénix de América, la Décima Musa o la Décima Musa mexicana.

  3. COMO FUE SU INFANCIA La niña pasó su infancia entre Amecameca, Yecapixtla, Panoaya donde su abuelo tenía una hacienda y Nepantla. Allí aprendió náhuatl con los esclavos de las haciendas de su abuelo, donde se sembraba trigo y maíz. El abuelo de Sor Juana murió en 1656, por lo que su madre tomó las riendas de las fincas. Asimismo, aprendió a leer y escribir a los tres años al tomar las lecciones con su hermana mayor a escondidas de su madre.

  4. A QUE SE DEDICABA Sor Juana tuvo tres tipos de ocupaciones las cuales eran: • Poetisa • Dramaturga • religiosa

  5. DE QUE MURIÓ SOR JUANA Murió a los cuarenta y tres años, durante una epidemia 1695, Sor Juana se dedicó a cuidar a las monjas enfermas y desafortunadamente se contagió. Murió el 17 de abril de 1695, a las tres de la mañana.
