  2. Matilda • Matilda loved to read books. • She always wanted a book to read. • By the age of 3, Matilda taught her self to read. • The first book she read was a cook book. • It was the only book her parents kept in the house.

  3. Mr. Wormwood • Her father owned a car company. • Her bought cars no one would ever buy because they wouldn’t run right or they had to many miles on them. • With a drill he would run the car backwards and get miles off that way. • With sawdust he would mix it with the oil to make the gears run right.

  4. The Hat and the Superglue • Matilda had gotten fed up with her dad. • So, right before work one day she put superglue on the rim of his hat. • It got stuck to his head and his wife had to cut the hat off his head.

  5. The Ghost • One day, While Matilda’s mom was at bingo, Matilda walked to her neighbors house. • He asked her if she could borrow his pet parrot. • He said no at first but Matilda convinced him by promising him her weeks allowance. • Matilda trotted home and stuck the bird in the fireplace. • It Freaked her parents and brother out.

  6. Miss Honey • Miss Honey is Matildas Integellent teacher.

  7. The Trunchbull • The Trunchbull is the principal of Matildas school. • She is as Mean as a lion when fighting for food. • She is as Strong as an elephant.

  8. The Ending In the end Matildas parents unexpectedly move and Matilda gets to stay to live with Miss honey. Matilda Also finds out that The Trunchbull is Miss Honeys aunt.
