Facilitator Techniques • Coach rather than instruct • Ask rather than tell • Listen rather than talk 80/20 • Compliment rather than criticize • Build relationships rather than road blocks • Ask for opinions rather than give your own • Negotiate rather than dictate • Practice a sense of humor rather than a sense of “humdrum”
