  1. “Sensors” is our Middle Name

  2. ASG Mission Statement Design, manufacture, and market quality sensor products and related electronics to the global marketplace while providing exceptional service to its customers

  3. ASG History • 1942 Herman Schaevitz founds Schaevitz Engineering • 1976 Howard A. Schaevitz becomes Chairman and CEO • 1986 Schaevitz Engineering sold to Lucas Industries PLC • 1994 Macro Sensors founded by Howard A. Schaevitz • 2005 American Sensor Technologies buys Macro Sensors • 2009 Sensing Solutions is founded by Harold G. Schaevitz • 2012 Alliance Sensors Group founded by Howard and Harold Schaevitz as a division of H.G. Schaevitz LLC and Sensing Solutions is merged into ASG

  4. ASG History (cont.) Alliance Sensors Group is a recently formed company that traces its lineage back 70 years to the founding of Schaevitz Engineering by Herman Schaevitz in 1942. He built Schaevitz Engineering into the premier name in LVDT position sensing technology before retiring in 1976 and handing over the company to his son Howard. As chairman and CEO, Howard A. Schaevitz guided Schaevitz Engineering for more than a decade, building it into one of the world's largest manufacturers of position sensors for the industrial and aerospace markets. In 1986, Schaevitz Engineering was sold and in 1989, Howard Schaevitz departed the firm. In 1994, Howard Schaevitz and several former Schaevitz employees founded Macro Sensors, the second generation of Schaevitz sensor businesses, to make improved LVDT-based products. In 2005, Macro Sensors was sold and eventually both Howard Schaevitz, CEO, and his son Harold Schaevitz, a sales engineer, left Macro Sensors. In 2012, Howard A. Schaevitz and Harold G. Schaevitz formed Alliance Sensors Group as a division of H.G. Schaevitz LLC, the third generation of Schaevitz sensor companies, with Harold Schaevitz as CEO. One of the first actions of the new company was to acquire from Everight Sensors Corporation the heavy duty LVDTs and support electronics products designed specifically for the electric power generation industry.
