  4. College • 5 year program at the Polytechnic Institute of Bucharest Romania • Interned at various Teleports • Researched and designed project on “Processing of infrared images” • Many of his classes he took were in the Math and science fields.

  5. Why Engineering? • Became interested in electronics and chemistry as a child • Enjoyed hands on activities using electronics • Father was a mechanical Engineer

  6. Current Career • Currently, Mr. Stefanita is a New product development employee in which he deals with maintaining satellites. His degree directly correlates with his job because his job demands knowledge in electrical and telecommunication engineering. He has to be able to maintain the satellite physically, and also be able to build and program the satellite. Intelsat 11- Mr. Stefanita on the far right

  7. Off time • Working 40 hours a week leaves some free time. • In Mr. Stefanita’s free time, he likes to spend quiet time with his family. • He also likes to go out and catch a movie at the theatres.

  8. Me In the Future! My Future • I would love to become a Mechanical Engineer, specializing in Automotive Engineering.

  9. Future Employment • I would like to work for an automobile company, thinking of innovative car designs, and creating radical accessories for cars.

  10. Possible Colleges • Clemson University • Penn State • Carnegie Mellon

  11. After College • After college, in order to get a good job, I think I would need to already have internships while I am at college. From my internships, hopefully I can network myself to find my way to a good steady job.

  12. Projected typical work day • If I had to project a typical work day, my work day would consist of meeting between my team members on the project I would be working on, designing a solution, and then sending the solution on to the mechanics to build.

  13. Leisure Time • Play Soccer • Play Golf • Home improvement projects • Go to the gym
