SCIENTIFIC PROJECTS IN APPLIED SCIENCES Studies on: • application of conductive polymers in fibres and textiles • biomimetic scaffolds for tissue engineering purposes • application of fibres for concrete reinforcement • biodegradable fibrous materials based on cellulose • shape memory effect in polymers for medical purposes • biodegradable filtering materials • fuel supply in bi fuel engines in case of alcohol based fuels. • construction of turbines for jet engines • new constructions of electrostatic precipitators • application of tensegrity structures for construction of offshore equipment.
