  4. Coordinated School Health: State Growth & Awareness • SB 5093 • By 2010, all Washington State school districts must implement • District-wide school health advisory committee • Physical activity hours increased to 150 per week • Set standards for competitive foods in schools

Where are we in HPS on Coordinated School Health? • 2007 Healthy School Summit introduced data from McComb, Mississipi • Spring 2008 ASHA grant and intro to Senior Leadership • 2009-2010 Follow up presentation to SLT and approval of CSH Advisory Council as a formal resource in the District, Website approval and commitment of oversight by SLT sponsorship • Introductory meeting of potential interested member • Now formal launching of the advisory council and SharePoint site
