  2. Contractor Safety Program Opportunity Statement • “Achieve an Incident Free Operation (IFO) culture in Contractor Safety by engaging both Employees and Contractors and holding them mutually responsible for meeting a consistent set of safety expectations.”

  3. Contractor Safety Management (CSM) Is • Active engagement of our business partners (contractors) and Chevron employees in implementing and improving the Contractor Safety Program (CSM) program • A business partner qualification and selection process which addresses safety performance

  4. HES Requirements of our CSM Contractors • Must have a Behavior Based Safety program • Conduct daily Job Safety Analysis • Be involved with the Permit to Work process • Be responsible and use Stop Work Authority • Must Report all Incidents • Conduct Root Cause Analysis • Must submit all Short Service Employee forms • Must have a Sub Contractor Reporting Plan • Comply with the Drug and Alcohol Policy • Comply with CPL’s Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) policy • Motor Vehicle Safety Program & Cell Phone Policy

  5. STOP WORK AUTHORITY • As an employee or contractor for Chevron, you are Responsible and Authorized to stopany work that does not comply with the Tenetsof Operation AND there will be no repercussions to you.

Tenets of Operation • Operate within design or environmental limits • Operate in a safe and controlled conditions • Ensure safety devices are in place and functioning • Follow safe work practices and procedures • Meet or exceed customer’s requirements • Maintain integrity of dedicated systems • Comply with all applicable rules and regulations • Address abnormal conditions • Follow written procedures for high risk or unusual situations • Involve the right people in decisions that affect procedures and equipment
