Advantages and disadvantages Arlanda, Swedavia, LFV and the aviation industry are working to reduce such disadvantages as noise and emissions, but to increase the advantages that efficient transport services provide: • The hospitality industry – one of Sweden’s largest “export” industries. • Sweden’s exports of goods and services are equivalent to half of GDP. • In value terms, 10% of Sweden’s exports are sent as air cargo……and another 10% by lorry to airports outside Sweden. • The knowledge industry, the cultural sphere and political and social exchanges among countries require aviation.
