  4. The indicative mood is used to express factual information, certainty, and objectivity. Maria va a la escuela. The subjunctive mood is used to express everything except certainty and objectivity (like doubt, possibility, subjectivity, etc.) Los padres quieren que Maria vaya a la escuela
