  2. SUPPORTED BANKING WHERE ARE WE? Covers individuals who can provide consent Supported Banking procedures consisting of:- • Modified Power Of Attorney document • Letter of indemnity • Letter of direction STILL WORKING THROUGH ROLLOUT STAGE……. • Go to the TD bank near the residence • Provide the necessary information • Use the lead branch as reference in case of questions SETBACK • ROLLOUT FAILED To be done • individuals who cannot consent and • Those who are under PGT,

RDSPUPDATE • An OASIS initiative • Objective was to understand barriers to accessing RDSP by individuals and determine how to increase awareness and access of RDSP by individuals • Group consisted of those who were working on this issue or had good knowledge of the issue- lawyers, executive Director, directors of finance, • Three groups emerged- those that can give consent and have RDSP plan holders, those that can give consent but have no plan holders and those that cannot provide consent • those that can provide consent and have RDSP plan holders- it is a matter of connecting them to free resources that are currently available through Brendon Pooran • Those that can give consent but have no plan holders- need strong advocacy efforts to allow for widening of those who can be plan holders – currently it is very restrictive • Those that cannot give consent or are with PGT- need to work with PGT for a more collaborative and supportive process • Next steps- advocacy efforts with Law commission and working with PGT

INFORMATION COLLECTIONQ4 • Utility was circulated for extracting Q4 information • DSFG info team is crunching data and reporting back in aggregate form for use by agencies • Currently the volunteer sector information team has met over summer and developed report – to be presented today as part of resource group presentation along with indicators

  5. VORMOF • MOF has continued to pursue the project • They feel they have a critical mass of commitment letters and purchasing information • They are developing a business case with OECM and are optimistic • They will have more information at December meeting

  6. COMMON DATA BASE • Over the summer a volunteer group met at CH offices in Kitchener and developed a proposal • Details…….
