  10. Shakespeare • Towering figure of Renaissance Literature. Between 1590-1613, this English playwright wrote 37 plays that are still performed around the world • Example: Romeo and Juliet (p. 43)

  11. Cervantes • Spanish Renaissance Author - wrote Don Quixote (p. 43)
