  10. Can you identify the setting and describe it? Kathy looked outside and saw the dark night sky. There were only a few stars twinkling high in the sky. The moon was a small crescent. Kathy could see snowflakes starting to fall and cover the grass. Her bedroom windows were frosted. Kathy crawled under her big, soft quilt and grabbed a book off of her bookshelf. She flipped on her lamp so she could read in bed.
