Community Service • Just Keep Living Foundation • A non-profit foundation committed to the health and well being of the youth in our communities • Started by Matthew McConaughey with the hope of encouraging children to make positive and healthy changes in themselves and in the world around them

  8. Program Results Percentage of just keep livin students who have…. • Improved Academically (GPA): 75% • Improved/Maintained Behavior (Cooperation): 96% • Improved/Maintained Attendance: 81%

Facts on Participating Schools • Inner-City, 75% of the students come from Title 1 families • Ethnic Majorities and English language learners • Over 2,000 students in each school making it easy to get lost in the crowd. • Between 25% and 35% of these students do not graduate in 4 years. • Facts on Communities in Schools: • 85% of the participants in CIS achieved an attendance rate above 90% • 82% of students improved their GPA • 90% of students gained enough credits to promote them to the next grade level • 82% of the participants achieved satisfactory behavior standards.
