  2. Mikayil Abdullayev was born on 19th December in 1921 in Baku. He graduated in 1939 from the A.Azimzadeh Azerbaijan Art School and later, in 1949, graduated from the Moscow V. I. Surikov Arts Institute

  3. Mikayil Abdullayev (1921-2002) Composition created by him for the Nizami metro station interior design holds special place in his activity. The mosaics on the walls constitute spectacular examples of mosaic culture. Moreover, he is the author of the graphic design of ‘’Leyli and Mejnun” and “Koroglu” operas, and “Chitra” ballet by Niyazi.
