OpenEMR: Getting to the login page • Open a web browser. • In the address bar enter the location of your OpenEMR install. • For most users this is your server name followed by a /openemr • It will look something like this: http://myservername/openemr/ a live example can be seen here: http://opensourceemr.com:2100/openemr/interface/login/login_frame.php?site=default

OpenEMR: Logging In • Entering the correct address for the previous instructions takes you to the login screen. • Login is case sensitive! • First time login id is: admin with the password: pass. Note the lowercase letters. • Once you have entered your correct credentials (id/username and password), click login. • From the drop down menu you can select your language, English is the default.

  5. OpenEMR: Changing Passwords • Type password in the Radio Button navigation scheme. • Alternatively, from navigation on the left, select Miscellaneous and under that category password. • This will bring you to the change password screen. Type your new password in both locations. Remember, it is CASE sensitive. • Complete requirement to login with new password. • DON'T CHANGE THIS ON THE DEMO, PLEASE!
