ENGAGING EU HPC COMMUNITY (2)ACCELERATING THE PACE OF COOPERATION • April 2012 • T-Platforms to cooperate with Juelich Supercomputing Center (ForschungszentrumJuelich) in the field of scalable system software development • T-Platforms' original software frameworks, such as DISLIB parallel programming library, will be applied and evaluated to increase sustained performance of HPC applications June 2012 • CSC, CSCS, SARA and T-Platforms to Deliver Scalable Hybrid Prototype for PRACE • The T-Platforms is developing the system with CSC based on hot water cooling • Will be included into the pan-European HPCinfrastructure PRACE RI • Will be used to evaluate power efficiency, manageability and novel programming environments • Will combine the latest innovations in packaging, cooling, interconnect, accelerator technology and OS/systems management ONE STOP SOURCE FOR PETASCALE COMPUTING

ACCELERATING HPC ADOPTION: LATVIA To establish close collaboration in scientific simulations and modelling, on-demand access to supercomputers and other HPC services with academic institutions of Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia • 2012: • T-Blade TB2-XN (16 nodes) is delivered to RTU in collaboration with ATEA Baltic and ELKO GrupaAS • Fluid Dynamics modeling workshops organized • Collaboration with RTU: PetaFlops system development • nVidia CUDA adaptation for applications used by RTU • Partnership with Baltic system integrators ONE STOP SOURCE FOR PETASCALE COMPUTING

ACCELERATING HPC ADOPTION (2): LATVIA JOINING EUROPEAN FORCES • The first in Latvia specialized training center for supercomputer simulations and HPC technologies: • In close collaboration with Riga Technical University, ELKO Grupa AS and NVIDIA Corporation • T-Platforms delivers a series of master classes on the practical use of a broad range of software applications for supercomputer simulation • In addition, the company will provide training, guidelines and certification of Riga Technical University's teaching staff on CUDA applications development ONE STOP SOURCE FOR PETASCALE COMPUTING
