  4. Examples • DIRECT: • Les étudiants regardent les prof. (présent) • Je te regardé. (past) • Je te regardais. (imparfait) • INDIRECT: • Je lui parle. (présent) • Je lui a parlé. (past) • Je lui parlais. (imparfait)
