The goal of this Fact finding Mission is for “Fact Finders” to arrive at the realization that there are numerous resources that can assist TN teachers in implementing the new Curriculum Framework. By now you’ve probably heard that the new State Science Curriculum Framework has been approved and is scheduled for implementation in the 2009/10 school year. We’re sure that the addition of “embedded” standards to the Framework has raised lots of questions…What’s technology? What’s engineering? What’s embedded? Where can I find resources to help me successfully transition into the new Standards? The objective of this Fact Finding Mission is to explore the many quality materials that have been organized into the STEM Resource. “Fact Finders” will discover that it contains an abundance of great information to help TN teachers meet the challenges of implementing the new Standards.
