  3. Overview • OU-Tulsa Computer Account allows access to: • Logging on to the Campus Network • Network Home Drive (250 MB) • - Available first week of classes • Exchange/E-Mail • Campus Computer Labs • Library Resources

Acceptable Use Policy • Use computer resources for authorized purposes only • Access only information which you have been given authorized access • Be considerate in your use of shared resources (PC’s, printers, etc.) • It is your responsibility to read and acknowledge all policies. http://tulsa.ou.edu/it/policy.htm

  5. User Accounts • •First initial of your first name + first 7 letters of your last name (for example: jandrews) • Maximum 8 characters (for example: awilliam) • Common names may have a digit at the end • (for example: jsmith1)

  6. Password guidelines • Must contain minimum of 8 characters no spaces • Must be a combination of letters (uppercase and lower-case), numbers, and special characters • No dictionary words • Do NOT use common information i.e. pet’s name, nickname, phone number, etc. • Never share this information with anyone!
