  5. What Do Elected Officials Need? • Number of dead or injured • Damages to date and projected • What are we doing now? • Is it getting better or worse? • What can we get from the state? • What can we get from the feds? • What do our citizens need to know? Module 4

  6. Reports Critical for Emergency Response and Recovery • Action Plan (different for EOC than Incident?) • Section Reports (to develop Situation Report) • Situation Report (attachments) • Emergency Declarations • EOC Staffing and contacts • Maps, pictures, etc. Module 4

  9. Why Not Just Use ICS Forms • ICS forms don’t address all EOC concerns • ICS forms are discipline-specific • ICS forms do not include proclamations and declaration Module 4

Group Activity • Divide into at least two groups • Compare and Contrast information captured in ICS 209 with EOC Situation Report • Identify common critical information captured by ICS 209 and Situation Report • Identify information specific to only field level (ICS 209) and to local government or OA level, State/Region level (Situation Report) and the reason why. • Identify any additional information needed in Situation Report Module 4
