What is Connective Leadership • Connective Leadership is the leadership theory that involves relating one’s individual behavior styles in achieving goals to ALL follower’s in order to work together towards a common, shared goal. • There are three Achieving Styles with nine primary Behavior Strategies in which individuals utilize in order to achieve their goals, and these way differ from person to person. • Goals will be easily achieved if the leader sets clear and specific goals and includes everyone in order to work together.
Achieving Styles make it possible to identify leadership styles by realizing what is the best way to be successful and where one's own weaknesses may be. They include: Relational Direct Instrumental The Achieving Styles Model
Connective Leaders: • Participate • Facilitate • Enable • Build relationships • Influence and trust • Create space • Converse • Communicate • Collaborate • Essentially create a community between every vertical and horizontal levels of organizations
