The Standard Development TILAPIA TRIAL AUDITS PARALLEL TO PUBLIC CONSULTATIONS Source GG •  Together with Sustainable Fisheries Partnership project: • CHINA: 2 farms (1 cage and 1 pond based multiple sites); • USA: 1 farm (recirculation system); • COSTA RICA: 2 farms (raceways, 1 associate farm); • THAILAND: 6 farms (hatchery with multiple sites; 2 cage based operation; 3 pond based with multiple sites). • Internal standard setting procedure: • COLOMBIA: 4 farms (2 hatcheries, 1 pond and 1 cage) and 1 processing unit. • Tilapia drafts trials took place in 15 farms in 5 countries in • Asia, North- and South America.

This includes NGOs, Certification Bodies, veterinary chemical suppliers, retailers, tilapia farmers, tilapia suppliers and the GLOBALGAP National Technical Working Group - Colombia Aquaculture. • Applicable also for recirculation systems. • Tilapia translations are expected during next coming months for: Spanish, Portuguese, Bahasa Indonesian, Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese.
