  3. Our ClassWe’re in thethirdclassof the Junior High School. We’re studying 11 subjects including Languages (Greek, English, French/Germany), Maths, Science, History, Geography, Religion, Arts and PE.

  4. Our small forest • There are three campus-sites. Our school is in Pefki, a nice suburb of northern Athens.It is next to a small wood that belongs to our school.

  5. Values • It was founded in 1957 so we’ve got our 55h anniversary this year. Elliniki Paedea aims to be a school developing young men and women of character and values-leaders now and for the future.

  6. Our uniform • We’re having a uniform blue shirt/trousers, blue, white or light blue T-shirt and a blue jacket.

  7. Activities • Apart from the school subjects our programme involves many sport and cultural activities that help us to develop a range of skills, attitudes and interests and a broader perspective on life.

  9. Clubs • There are 10 clubs- basketball, volleyball, football, arts and crafts, chess, French culture, German culture, Science club, gymnastics.

  10. Discussions-Competitions Discussion with Mr.Th.Tsivilis, Paraolympic Champion ‘how to face the difficulties in life and be a winner’. Computer Science 1 st World Microsoft Competition 10th in the World. Prize a trip to Orlando.

  12. THEATRE The 3rd class of our school studied and then performed the ancient tragedy by Euripides ‘Helen’

  13. Daily programme • Our daily school life starts at 8.00 and finishes at 14.00. Those of us that have afternoon classes leave at 16.30.
