  4. Strategic Planning Cycle • Continually/Annually • monitor progress, assess environment, and update as necessary • Triennially • survey Rotarians, complete extensive review, revise as necessary, and report to Council on Legislation (COL)

  6. Public’s Perception of Rotary Who? Expensive? Accomplishments? Attendance requirements? Inflexible? Not diverse? Exclusive? Elitist? JTO

  9. Establish a Vision Rotary’s vision is to be the service organization of choice with dynamic, action-oriented clubs whose contributions improve lives in communities worldwide.

  15. Better Clubs • Balancing the four avenues • Promoting core values • Planning longer-term • Developing leaders • Differentiating ourselves—unifying our image • A “product” we have pride in.

  16. Bolder Clubs • Flexible and innovative • Action oriented • Significant, sustainable projects • Promote networking opportunities and signature activities

  17. Our Clubs – Bold or Old? Engagement or attendance? Too structured or having fun getting it done? Representative of your diverse community? A good environment for newer members? Inspiring projects and programs? A force for good?
