Objectives • Committee chose Consumer as first research effort • Objectives from UC Meetings: • Determine which attributes of UC services consumers deem most important/valued. Test email change if possible. • Using current technical profiles determine who might be early adopters of UC services. Look at frequency of use of different technologies if possible • Determine willingness to pay. • Determine where one might buy this service. • Determine potential addressable market based upon responses
Methodology • Issues list developed in 2nd quarter by UC Committee. • From Issues list and input of members developed survey questionnaire. • Limitations on length required tradeoffs (about 18 questions is tolerance of consumer market to complete) • Survey presented via web to general consumer market attempting to get 1000 responses from across USA. • Data based upon 1006 responses.
Methodology • Survey restricted to 61% of households using Internet. • Concepts were randomly rotated to remove bias.
