  5. What do I need? Register for account through KSLC or alternate.Creates your username & password. Software or app to listen to the book/transfer to an MP3 player. • Mobile App • Android • Apple • Kindle Fire • Computer Software • Windows 8, 7, Vista, XP • Mac OSX 10.6 & newer

  6. Mp3 Players Windows mac Apple devices only. • Fully compatible: • iPods • Sansa Clips, Fuze+ • Phillips GoGear Vibe • Sony Walkmans • Some Creative Zens • Partial compatibility: everything else.

Use in a nutshell • Download the OneClickdigital Media Manager software to your computer, or mobile app to your device. • Check out a book from the OneClick website. • Open your OneClickdigital Media Manager/mobile app and log in – the book information will show on the screen. • Use the book inside the software.Computer: Play – listen to book on your computer. Download/Transfer – send book to MP3 player.

FAQs • Traditional model—if all copies checked out, must place a hold. • All functions take place inside software/app, but can use browsing website. • 14 day checkout period • 5 books checked out at a time • 10 books on hold at a time • 3 days to check out a hold Return books early • No renewal option

  12. What do I need? Kansas Library Card 3M Cloud Library software or app. • Computers & eReader • Windows 8, 7, Vista, XP • Mac OSX • Transfer to most standard ereaders. • Mobile • Android • Apple • Nook Color, Tablet, HD/HD+

Use in a nutshell • Download the 3M Cloud Library app (software) to your computer or compatible mobile device. • Log in to the 3M app with your KSLC info. • Browse or search for a book INSIDE the software, check it out there. • Use the book in the software. Computer: A transfer button will appear when the ereader is connected to the computer.

  16. FAQs • Rental model • Use website to checkout, software to read. • Tokens • Each patron gets 5 tokens per week. • Tokens roll over for 4 weeks. • No charge for unused tokens. • “Cost” of Books • 1 to 4 tokens. • Renewals usually free.

  17. What do I need? Kansas Library Card Adobe ID – authenticate software Software or app • Computers & eReader • Adobe Digital Editions • Mobile • Freading app, BlueFire app, or alternate EPUB app.

  18. Use in a nutshell • Log in at the Kansas Library Card site. • Click on the Freading link. • Find a book—download it to reader software. • --no communication between software & website after this!!!
