  2. What is Project ChainReaction? An initiative of theBCCH Corporate Responsibility working groupchief patron: HM Ambassador Greg Dorey organized sharing of CR knowledge and best practice between BCCHmembers and invited major CR players in the framework of a branded project involving high level decision makers and the media education, exchange of ideas, stakeholder engagement, ...

What happens within the project? each event hosted by aselected BCCH member hosts present their own CR activities through "field visits" and presentations 4-5events / year, (bi-)monthly, 3-4 professional event in Q1-Q3 + 1 BCCH community volunteer day project continues infinitely depending on demand project also serves as a „CR training” regular participants receive a diploma

  4. What happens within the project? each visit covers a specific CR area environment sustainability community and volunteerism CR for financial companies, ... we aim to cover all areas of the CR profession on the long run

  7. Examples (semi-confirmed) Tesco leads guests around in its new "eco"supermarket and explains how they actually save money by using 21st century green technologies. Magyar Telekom shows its high-tech call center which employs people with disabilities, also presents other initiatives related to equal opportunities. Financial companies (Provident, Citibank) explain how responsible lending helps them recover from the economic crisis.

  9. Approach How does CR make your business PROFITABLE. In practice. Here and now. Case studies backed up with numbers Hands on experience at local visits Reposition CR from „nice to have” to „good to have”.

  10. What's in it for me? Learning from each other within BCCH  … allows you to learn from the best companies … grants you practical knowledge … may give you credit through media exposure … is a mirror to test your CR against … educates invited decision makers and journalists … allows you to build professional contacts … cost effective (basically free) Third-party CR trainings/audits are MUCH more expensive. You save money and get the best quality available.

Levels of participation Champions (about 6 / year) hosts of 1 training session each, regular participants leading BCCH companies / companies with excellent CR programme Partners (about 15 per session) regular participants CR professionals of (preferably) BCCH members Guests (about 10 per session) non-BCCH professionals media decision makers

  13. „Champions” Key participants selected by BCCH CR SIG, based on quality of the candidate’s CR programme economic impact of the candidate company commitment made to the ChainReaction project Champions host sessions Each session held at the Champions’ premises Champion covers (optional) costs of venue, catering, etc. Champions present their own CR programme Limited spots available (only 6 sessions / year) participants from similar industries may co-host sessions participation must be signed off by CEO (see conditions later)

  14. „Partners” Regular participants accepted by BCCH CR SIG regular participants receive a diploma they do not host but regularly participate sessions they contribute with questions, comments Limited spots available (about 15) recommended for CR (related) professional of the company priority given to BCCH member companies

  15. „Guests” The project is opento the media „CR training” for journalists specialized in CR, social, environmental, NGO, etc. professional areas decision makers „CR training” for high level public servants, politicians, etc. non-BCCH CR professionals

  16. Terms of participation Each participant covers costs and provides venue for one session (30-50 people) Participant delegates at least one relevant person to all training days (appx. once every 1.5 - 2 months) Host’s CEO opens local training session Trainer is a senior CR professional of the company Training deals with all relevant areas of the company’s operation Host submits presentation and summary to BCCH for evaluation and publishing
