Bamboo. Bamboo is technically a grass It can grow to be 130 ft tall and up to a foot in diameter. It is one of the fastest growing plants in the world. Some species grows as much as 1 -3 feet a day! Most varieties grow about 2 inches a day.

  4. Pandas eat almost 80 pounds of bamboo a day!! As much as 9,900 pounds a year!! • They eat bamboo for 11 to 12 hours a day!

  5. Red pandas also depend on bamboo as their main food.
